September 24, 2016 – Kayenta Anniversary Open House

Our home barn, Kayenta Equestrian, is marking their second anniversary of owning the property and to celebrate and say thank you to all of our clients, we are hosting a barn Open House.  Join us for brunch, tours of the facility, and meet and greets with the facility owner, trainers and local industry professionals.

Saturday, September 24, 2016 {10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.} — Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like

October 1, 2016 – Fall Equitation Clinic

Five Star is proud to announce our Fall Eq Clinic, hosted by Kayenta Equestrian.  Sharon will be the clinician and focus will be on improving riders’ equitation, on the flat and over fences.  Sharon specializes in equitation, as she has a deep understanding of the how the rider and their position affects the horse and a round.  Join us for one or more of the following sessions:

  • Session I:  U/S – All levels {9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.}  –  $40 per rider
  • Session II:  2′-2’3″ – Intermediate {11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.}  –  $50 per rider
  • Session III:  2’6″-2’9″ – Advanced {1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.}  –  $50 per rider

Coming in 2017! – Quarterly Horsemanship Clinics

Beginning in 2017, Five Star, in partnership with Kayenta, will be hosting quarterly horsemanship clinics, covering topics such as proper grooming techniques, basic feeding and nutrition, how to properly fit tack and equipment, and so much more!  These clinics will be held on the ground and attendees will get hands on experience when applicable.  Take home handouts and refreshments will be provided  Stay tuned for more information!!
